HungaroMet is a 100% state-owned company established through the transformation of the former Hungarian Meteorological Service (OMSZ), a central government budgetary institution, on 1 January 2024.
HungaroMet’s Role and Activities
HungaroMet performs government responsibilities related to meteorology across the entire territory of Hungary. Its responsibilities include:
